We have been working with One Nite Band for over 10 years!
They are an amazing party band servicing Calgary, the Alberta Parks area and beyond. Rob, bass player and band leader, has a passion for event production and is a certified gear head, which is something that has bonded us over the years.
ONB had been embracing the newest technologies since the bands inception. They have gone full wireless: from battery powered wireless DMX, to wireless microphones and in ear systems. It is not a simple task to ensure that everything is communicating well, given all of the potential RF problems. This is why ONB has been counting on us, not to mention ensuring the front of house is sounding perfect.
Every show the dance floor is packed. That is how we know that our contribution is making a difference. If the band isn’t sounding just right, people will hide at the bar in the hallway, or sit in the corners of the room. These are the things we notice. Maybe the front of house is too bright, or there is too much bass. That’s when we constantly fine tune until as many people are out on the dance floor as possible.
It’s about the bride, the guests, the uncle from out of town.
It is important for us to see that people catch ONB’s vibe and dance like no ones watching. To celebrate life. That is how we help ONB bridge technology and the human experience.
