Octapharma At The Sheraton Hotel Calgary
Octapharma, a company that research and develop life-saving therapies from high quality human plasma and human cell lines, entrusted us in their recent Calgary event. Never had I thought I would learn so much about blood! The event took place at the Sheraton hotel ballroom. I could visibly see the clients shoulders drop as we answered their questions and adjusted the equipment to suit their needs. We kept everything clean, as usual and transitions between the presenters were smooth. It was a requirement to capture each presentation as a picture in picture to distribute post event. We also were set to produce a promotional one minute video to allow the customer to entice audiences for their future events.
Regarding the picture in picture, we utilized a 4k camera for the presenter shot, and captured the PowerPoint slides through a dedicated external recorder. These two video images would be combined in post production along with the professionally recorded audio captured off of our digital console.
The one minute promotional video was captured with two full frame 4k camera’s and expertly edited with skilled videographer Jake Warren whom we contracted for the event.
